FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A now annual event will return to Fort Wayne this month that hopes to support and bring awareness to an issue that so many families struggle with.
The Walk of Hope is held during National Infertility Awareness Week in support of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.
The group aims to increase awareness of infertility and support those touched by it. RESOLVE also helps to raise money and connect people with available resources.
The second annual Walk of Hope will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the PFW Friends Pavilion at Aquarius Park, west of the Walb Student Union at 1:00 p.m.
You can help by participating in the walk by yourself or with a team or you can also donate to RESOLVE today.
Check-in for the Walk opens at 1:00 PM. The Walk will begin at 2:30 starting and finishing at Friend’s Pavilion. Participants will have the option of completing a 1 mile walk or 5K that loops around campus and back to the Pavilion. The PFW campus paths are paved and suitable for wheelchairs, wagons, and/or strollers. We will have activities for all ages to enjoy before and after the walk including lawn games, a selfie station, an art activity, raffle, and more!
